*sets aside thesis work for much, much later*
I love this day! We thesis people who took this prof as our adviser had our first meeting this morning regarding our topics. YAHOOO. *thesis topic not to be revealed until it's hopefully final and approved* We met at Chocokiss for a pseudo-brunch, and she basically treated us! *so nice* I, of course, had to have their tomato soup (because I have a weird soup fetish, as many of my close friends know). Though rough and basically still unpolished, I NOW HAVE DIRECTION! Hope is there indeed, and I can paddle through tomorrow's faculty consultation with Sir with a sturdier foundation for my topic. ( Pimping my blogspot, because I basically ranted there! ) /EDIT/Thesis topic changed. HOMG. *gulp*/EDIT/
After that, I went back to Katipunan for an overdue dental appointment, and then I met up with Joseph, who (surprise of all surprises) suggested we go jog around the Academic Oval in school. Naturally, I agreed, because I'd been nagging him to go exercise (and it is unbelievably hard to convince the boy), and I myself had been wanting to try out exercising in school for years. The weather was just perfect - all sunny and nice, without any hint of last week's bad, bad rain - and I put on my walking shoes (read: Converse) and we basically managed to traverse all 2.2 km of the oval. Of course, no actual jogging occurred (because we're in that much poor shape), but at least our cardio systems were stimulated enough, yes? HAHA. We did more sightseeing than exercise, really, but it was fun. UP Diliman's one beautiful campus, even with the less-than-cared-for buildings. We took a quick stop at Long Island to buy late lunch (more me than him), and then off we went to Katipunan to buy passionfruit green tea at Moonleaf Tea Shop (my new Serenitea fix), heeeeeeee.
And what was even nicer was that we bumped into Theresa, my long-lost high school friend, who studies in the same school as I do and yet is physically hard to catch sight of! YAY. She invited us to the screening of HP7.2 at SM North - 3D, free food, 7PM on July 15 - for a whopping PHP250. OMG. We are so THERE (I think). *can't wait* He and I find it difficult to come to terms with the "end" of our childhood. *sigh* HUHU.
Maybe the BEST part of the campus. *canopies of ancient trees and all*
His shadow and shoe HAHA :D *dressed to run, but we did not run at all, huhu!*
OKAY, I love the Carillon Tower just jutting out in the distance. Izz so awezzuuuum, okay?
